Quiqui Diaz vs Ricardo Cayo

Boxing Daily Report from the Pacific and Andean Promotions promoted show at Lima Lizardo, Lima,  taking place on 27/01/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Peru-Lima Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Quiqui Diaz (11 - 6(1) - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Ricardo Cayo(11(3) - 3) from Lima, Peru.  Diaz weighed in at 122 pounds, while Cayo weighed in at 121 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bronco Aday, and the three ringside judges are Emilio Triano, Orlando Blando and Saturnin Villena.  

Round 1: 

Cayo lands a right hook.

Cayo thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Diaz away.  Cayo lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, DROPPING DIAZ TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Diaz now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Cayo pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.

He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  It looks like Diaz has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Diaz switches the action to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Cayo could be enough to finish Diaz!  Cayo whips in a mean right hook to Diaz's body.  DIAZ HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Cayo gets on the inside and walks Diaz into a corner.  Cayo lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES DIAZ!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Diaz cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Cayo!
