Koray Yazicioglu vs Engin Ayerdem

Boxing Daily Report from the Nabighyan Promotions promoted show at Izmir Sahan, Izmir,  taking place on 01/01/2029:

Clearly Nabighyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Turkey-Izmir Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Koray Yazicioglu (4 - 11(2) - 2) who hails from Izmir, Turkey and Engin Ayerdem(5(1) - 0) from Izmir, Turkey.  Yazicioglu weighed in at 135 pounds, while Ayerdem weighed in at 134 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Koray Ali, and the three ringside judges are Selim Tekin, Suleiman Ozbey and Mehmet Sonmez.  

Round 1: 

Ayerdem steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Ayerdem ties up his opponent.  Ayerdem is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ayerdem closes the distance.  Yazicioglu sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ayerdem is on target with a firm left hook.  
Ayerdem closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Ayerdem ties up his opponent.  Ayerdem pushes his forearm into Yazicioglu's face.  The referee warns Ayerdem and breaks the clinch.  
Ayerdem lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ayerdem lands a right hook.  
Ayerdem lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Ayerdem lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Ayerdem clinches his opponent.  Ayerdem leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ayerdem dabs at his face checking for damage.

Ayerdem lands a left uppercut.  
Ayerdem gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Ayerdem connects with a stinging right hook.  Ayerdem attempts to land a right uppercut, but Yazicioglu slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Ayerdem is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Yazicioglu stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Ayerdem lands a cross to Yazicioglu's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Yazicioglu's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Ayerdem's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Ayerdem knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Ayerdem lands a left uppercut to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head, AND DROPS YAZICIOGLU!  He manages to get up at 7.

Ayerdem lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  Yazicioglu now seems to have got his legs back.  
Ayerdem drives a firm left hook into his opponents liver.  
Ayerdem steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Yazicioglu on the ropes.  Ayerdem lands a VICIOUS right uppercut.  DOWN GOES YAZICIOGLU!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Ayerdem!
