Bart Rezin vs Ricky Hood

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Manukau Cleghorn, Manukau,  taking place on 28/01/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bart Rezin (10 - 8(2) - 4) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Ricky Hood(10 - 9(6) - 6) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Rezin and Hood weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Justin Kahukakanui, and the three ringside judges are Ollie Scobie, Lloyd Rease and Chris Kellie.  

Round 1: 

Hood advances into close range and forces Rezin to back into the red corner.  Rezin lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Hood gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Hood throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Hood clinches his opponent.  Hood is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Hood and breaks the clinch.
