Malvolio Merlos vs Jose Ortuno

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiberu Promotions promoted show at Kiberu Gym, Valencia,  taking place on 29/01/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad Valenciana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Malvolio Merlos (17(2) - 7 - 1) who hails from Alicante, Spain and Jose Ortuno(16 - 9 - 1) from Valencia, Spain.  Merlos weighed in at 147 pounds, while Ortuno weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cris Estay, and the three ringside judges are Dimos Montero, Quinto Madrid and Quinto Quezada.  

Round 1: 

Ortuno advances into close range.  Merlos throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Merlos holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Merlos pushes his forearm into Ortuno's face.  The referee warns Merlos and breaks the clinch.
