David Saomba vs Billy Samkange

Boxing Daily Report from the Harare Boxing Club promoted show at Harare Mubako, Harare,  taking place on 03/02/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Zimbabwe-Harare Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Saomba (14 - 6(4)) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Billy Samkange(11 - 12 - 3) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Saomba and Samkange weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jack Feamster, and the three ringside judges are Peabo Chikwava, Oliver Magwa and Kyle Bulawayo.  

Round 1: 

Saomba lands a cross.  
Saomba is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook.  
Samkange hits home with a left hook.  
Saomba manages to force Samkange into the corner.  Saomba pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  
Saomba is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

Saomba pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Saomba closes the distance and lands a right hook.  
Saomba feints a right hook, and then lands with a solid jab.  
Samkange switches the action to the outside.  Saomba finds the target with a jab.  
Saomba lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Samkange tries to keep the action at long range.  Saomba is on target with a jab.  
Saomba cuts off the ring, trapping Samkange in the corner.  Saomba lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Saomba lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Saomba wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Samkange dabs at his face checking for damage.  Samkange has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Saomba backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Samkange accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Saomba.
