Michael Nieves vs Steven Hammill

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Civic Auditorium, San Jose,  taking place on 15/03/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Pacific Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Nieves (23(12) - 1) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Steven Hammill(19 - 9) from Bakersfield, USA.  Both Nieves and Hammill weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Herring, and the three ringside judges are Ian Darling, Jasper Fairlie and Mark Gardon.  

Round 1: 

Nieves advances into close range and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
