Saranjam Majidova vs Niyazi Safarli

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Baku Halim, Baku,  taking place on 14/01/2029:

Clearly AI Azerbaijan-Absheron have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Saranjam Majidova (6 - 8 - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Niyazi Safarli(11 - 8 - 2) from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.  Both Majidova and Safarli weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nariman Jafri, and the three ringside judges are Mehman Dzhafarov, Yasaf Mahmudov and Bashir Amirbeyov.
