George Buchanan vs David Burns

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Scotland promoted show at Ken Argall Gym, Glasgow,  taking place on 12/02/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Buchanan (6 - 7 - 6) who hails from Glasgow, UK and David Burns(11 - 6 - 3) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Buchanan and Burns weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ed McPhatter, and the three ringside judges are Anton Adam, Bruce McBeth and Robert Priddy.  

Round 1: 

Burns tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Buchanan steps away from his opponent.  Burns connects with an overhand left.

Burns is on target with a left hook to Buchanan's liver.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Burns dabs at his face checking for damage.
