Duncan McCardell vs Kyle Lythgoe

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Theater Center, Los Angeles,  taking place on 24/02/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan McCardell (14 - 3) who hails from Lowell, USA and Kyle Lythgoe(14 - 2 - 3) from New York City, USA.  Both McCardell and Lythgoe weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Robert Christopher, and the three ringside judges are Max Pont, Vince Aitken and Dave Markle.  

Round 1: 

McCardell tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
McCardell gets on the inside.  McCardell sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a stinging left uppercut into Lythgoe's body.  
McCardell lands a left uppercut.  
McCardell walks Lythgoe down, trapping him in the corner.  McCardell lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
McCardell connects with a left uppercut.  
McCardell drives a firm right uppercut into Lythgoe's ribs.

McCardell pushes his forearm into Lythgoe's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Lythgoe walks McCardell down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lythgoe pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
McCardell digs in a firm right hook to Lythgoe's body.

McCardell gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Lythgoe steps to the outside and hits home with a stinging jab.
