Douglas Baird vs Brandon McAfee

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at O2 Academy, Glasgow,  taking place on 15/03/2029:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Douglas Baird (14(1) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Brandon McAfee(9 - 6 - 3) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Baird and McAfee weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Andrew Frew, and the three ringside judges are Peter MacLaughlin, Abdul Arif and Peter McWethy.  

Round 1: 

Baird tries to land a jab, but McAfee blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Baird manages to force McAfee into the corner.  Baird lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
McAfee pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a jab.
