Rich Hall vs Johnny Cairns

Boxing Daily Report from the Ayibonte Promotions promoted show at Indianapolis Yeats, Indianapolis,  taking place on 31/01/2029:

Clearly Ayibonte Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Rich Hall (3 - 0) who hails from Lowell, USA and Johnny Cairns(1 - 0 - 2) from Westminster, USA.  Hall weighed in at 231 pounds and 11 ounces, while Cairns weighed in at 231 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bryan Maffett, and the three ringside judges are Henry Norrie, Chris Philley and David Reach.  

Round 1: 

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Cairns dabs at his face checking for damage.  Cairns has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Cairns tries to keep the action at long range.  Hall lands a cross to his opponents body.  
Hall closes the distance and walks Cairns down, trapping him in a corner.  Hall lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Hall lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.

Hall gets on the inside.  Cairns pivots to the right of his opponent.  Hall is on target with a right uppercut to Cairns's body.  Hall throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Cairns to the neutral corner.  He lectures Hall but does not take away a point.  
Hall walks Cairns down, trapping him in the corner.  Hall lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hall lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hall lands a stinging left hook.  
Hall steps inside.  Hall is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Hall walks his opponent into the blue corner.  Hall drives a right uppercut into Cairns's body.  
Hall is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left uppercut to Cairns's body.  
Cairns steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Hall tries to tag Cairns on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Hall drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Hall closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hall lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Hall lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Hall sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.

Hall lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Hall holds on to his opponent.  Hall is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hall drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cairns's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Cairns's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
