Evan Higgins vs Roy Rowan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Northern Ireland promoted show at Belfast Hickey, Belfast,  taking place on 22/02/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern Ireland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Evan Higgins (19 - 8(2)) who hails from Bangor, UK and Roy Rowan(23(8) - 1) from Londonderry, UK.  Both Higgins and Rowan weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Hastie, and the three ringside judges are Ian Casey, Brett Lannon and Paul Sheridan.  

Round 1: 

Rowan lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Higgins steps away from his opponent.  Rowan lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Rowan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Higgins throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Rowan walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Higgins throws a left uppercut, but Rowan clinches his opponent.  Rowan tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Higgins behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Rowan to stop fouling.

Rowan lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Higgins throws a left uppercut, but Rowan holds on to his opponent.  Rowan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Rowan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Rowan lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  Rowan ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Higgins pushes his forearm into Rowan's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Higgins to stop fouling.
