Ricky Amberson vs Raiepe Hopa

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 24/02/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Amberson (7 - 10 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Raiepe Hopa(7 - 4 - 2) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Amberson weighed in at 233 pounds and 4 ounces, while Hopa weighed in at 235 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Richard Kier, and the three ringside judges are Noel Haxton, Ewan Roxburgh and Clint Cattell.
