Amjad Abdo vs Morgan Kazibwe

Boxing Daily Report from the Manyama Promotions promoted show at Kampala Oulanyah, Kampala,  taking place on 02/03/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Kampala District Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amjad Abdo (10 - 13 - 2) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Morgan Kazibwe(10(3) - 4 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Abdo weighed in at 122 pounds, while Kazibwe weighed in at 121 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Zain Ahsan, and the three ringside judges are Ian Magunda, Adnan Abad and Ian Magunda.  

Round 1: 

Kazibwe closes the distance and digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  Kazibwe clinches his opponent.  Kazibwe tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Abdo behind the head. 
Abdo throws a left hook, but Kazibwe clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Abdo is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab.  
Kazibwe advances into close range and walks Abdo down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Kazibwe digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kazibwe is on target with a firm right uppercut to Abdo's ribcage.  
Kazibwe pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Kazibwe gets on the inside and drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Abdo feints a cross, fooling Kazibwe into throwing a left hook counter.  Abdo is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Abdo attempts to land a jab, but Kazibwe sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.

Kazibwe lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Kazibwe clinches his opponent.  Kazibwe leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kazibwe is on target with a solid right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  Kazibwe ties up his opponent.  Abdo uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kazibwe's kidney. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Abdo to stop fouling.

Kazibwe lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Kazibwe walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Kazibwe connects with a cross.

Abdo throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a big left uppercut to Abdo's body.  ABDO IS HURT!  
Kazibwe gets on the inside and manages to force Abdo into the blue corner.  Kazibwe whips in a big right uppercut to Abdo's ribcage.  ABDO IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Abdo now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Abdo's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Kazibwe lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Kazibwe ties up his opponent.  Abdo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Kazibwe steps inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
