Hugh Burns vs Jeraldo Tabora

Boxing Daily Report from the Tone promoted show at Mark Moss Gym, New York City,  taking place on 02/03/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-New York State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hugh Burns (16 - 13(6)) who hails from New York City, USA and Jeraldo Tabora(16 - 1(1)) from New York City, USA.  Both Burns and Tabora weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Pumphrey, and the three ringside judges are Michael Perry, Rob Abbey and Ellis Cammon.  

Round 1: 

Tabora manages to force Burns into the blue corner.  Tabora lands a left hook.  
Tabora pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Burns is looking to keep his distance and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Tabora voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Burns steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
