Jay Bey vs Chris Melrose

Boxing Daily Report from the Simuunza Promotions promoted show at Gethin Nicholson Gym, Minneapolis,  taking place on 14/03/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Minnesota Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Bey (16(1) - 4 - 1) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Chris Melrose(21(5) - 1 - 1) from Minneapolis, USA.  Both Bey and Melrose weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richard Symington, and the three ringside judges are Lewis Suttie, Sam Shumway and Lee Gladstone.  

Round 1: 

Melrose throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.
