Aidan Fannon vs Thomas Hughes

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at Dublin Magee, Dublin,  taking place on 14/03/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aidan Fannon (12(2) - 1) who hails from Drogheda, Ireland and Thomas Hughes(8 - 13 - 6) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Fannon and Hughes weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joshua Higgins, and the three ringside judges are Sam Mulryan, Mel Mohan and Lee Beirne.  

Round 1: 

Fannon steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Fannon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Fannon pushes his forearm into Hughes's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
