Ibrahim Thomson vs Gazi Merouane

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Algeria-Alger promoted show at Zain Khodja Gym, Algiers,  taking place on 14/03/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Algeria-Alger Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ibrahim Thomson (14 - 8 - 2) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Gazi Merouane(10 - 2(1)) from Algiers, Algeria.  Both Thomson and Merouane weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Abdul Gardel, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Samaan, Khalid Yachir and Farhan Merah.  

Round 1: 

Merouane gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  Merouane tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Merouane's ribs.
