Orlando Carreon vs Jeraldo Palomo

Boxing Daily Report from the Mwase Promotions promoted show at Sancho Calleja Gym, San Bernardo,  taking place on 16/03/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Chile-Santiago Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Orlando Carreon (8 - 7(1) - 6) who hails from San Bernardo, Chile and Jeraldo Palomo(5(2) - 0) from Santiago, Chile.  Carreon weighed in at 159 pounds And 8 ounces, while Palomo weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ulises Cerna, and the three ringside judges are Diego Vidales, Ovidio Barco and Eduardo Martel.  

Round 1: 

Palomo lands a stinging left uppercut.  Palomo ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Palomo pushes his forearm into Carreon's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Palomo.  
Carreon throws a left hook, but Palomo clinches his opponent.  Palomo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Carreon tries to step out of his opponents range and tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Palomo steps inside and manouvers Carreon onto the ropes.  Palomo lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Palomo lands a cross.  
Palomo closes the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Carreon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Palomo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Palomo holds on to his opponent.  Palomo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Palomo digs in a right hook to Carreon's ribcage.  Palomo throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Palomo lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Palomo holds on to his opponent.  Palomo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Palomo manouvers Carreon into a corner.  Palomo lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Palomo hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Palomo walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Palomo lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Palomo hits home with a sharp cross.  
Carreon steps away from his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Palomo advances into close range.  Carreon pivots to the left of his opponent.  Palomo lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Palomo ties up his opponent.  Palomo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Carreon almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Palomo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a solid right hook.  
Palomo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Palomo is looking to close the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Palomo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Palomo gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Carreon's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Carreon's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Carreon's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Palomo hits home with a left hook.  Palomo ties up his opponent.  Palomo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Palomo lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Palomo walks Carreon onto the ropes.  Palomo digs in a solid right hook to Carreon's body.  
Palomo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Palomo walks Carreon down, trapping him in the corner.  Palomo lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Palomo lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Palomo is on target with a stinging left hook to Carreon's body.  
Palomo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a FIERCE left hook.  CARREON IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Palomo!
