Tajo Rico vs Malvolio Cantos

Boxing Daily Report from the Ebrahimyan Promotions promoted show at Porto Alegre Lias, Porto Alegre,  taking place on 25/03/2029:

Clearly Ebrahimyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Brazil-Rio Grande do Sul Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tajo Rico (13 - 15 - 2) who hails from Porto Alegre, Brazil and Malvolio Cantos(9 - 16 - 4) from Natal, Brazil.  Both Rico and Cantos weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Juan Parada, and the three ringside judges are Juan Napoles, Santiago Raymundo and Eduardo Soares.  

Round 1: 

Cantos hits home with a cross.  
Rico steps inside.  Rico pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Cantos feints a cross and triggers a left uppercut counter from Rico.  Cantos springs the trap, countering with  a left hook.  
Rico is looking to close the distance.  Rico backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Cantos steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Cantos drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Cantos pivots to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Rico is on target with a right hook.  Cantos wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rico dabs at his face checking for damage.
