David Matteson vs Kris Spens

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Star promoted show at Overland Park Convention Center, Overland Park,  taking place on 07/05/2029:

Clearly Top Star have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Kansas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Matteson (19(1) - 2) who hails from Wichita, USA and Kris Spens(8 - 1) from Wichita, USA.  Both Matteson and Spens weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Blackley, and the three ringside judges are Duncan Myres, Dominic Galloway and David Edmison.
