Gareth Iverson vs Richard Harkness

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Waitakere Ngahoro, Waitakere,  taking place on 27/03/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Iverson (7 - 4 - 7) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Richard Harkness(16 - 8 - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Iverson and Harkness weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Max Weatherspoon, and the three ringside judges are Oliver Ngarongomate, Declan Haturini and James Woodburn.  

Round 1: 

Harkness advances into close range and is on target with a left hook.  
Harkness pivots from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Harkness sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Iverson lands a right hook.  
Iverson tries to keep the action at long range.  Iverson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Iverson throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.
