Mason Ayibonte vs Jevonte Omaboe

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Dawu Sports Stadium, Accra,  taking place on 26/05/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Ghana Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Viasat 1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mason Ayibonte (12(10) - 0) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Jevonte Omaboe(16 - 6(1) - 2) from Accra, Ghana.  Both Ayibonte and Omaboe weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vashon Asamoah, and the three ringside judges are Usi Boakye, Razi Adusei and Nabulung Berko.  

Round 1: 

Omaboe is looking to close the distance.  Ayibonte connects with a left hook.  
Ayibonte steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Omaboe pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Ayibonte tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with a sharp overhand left.  
Omaboe closes the distance and lands a left uppercut.  
Ayibonte tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Omaboe steps inside.  Ayibonte pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ayibonte connects with a firm right hook.  
Omaboe gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Ayibonte lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Omaboe almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ayibonte attempts to land a right hook, but Omaboe sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Ayibonte tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ayibonte is on target with a VICIOUS overhand left.  OMABOE IS HURT!  
Omaboe closes the distance.  Ayibonte thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Omaboe away.  Ayibonte connects with a SAVAGE right hook.  OMABOE HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Ayibonte!
