Darrell Gedeon vs Sinjon Colette

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Rhone-Alpes promoted show at Donatien Perec Gym, Lyon,  taking place on 29/03/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the France-Rhone-Alpes Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darrell Gedeon (12 - 12 - 3) who hails from Saint-Etienne, France and Sinjon Colette(8 - 4 - 1) from Lyon, France.  Gedeon weighed in at 168 pounds, while Colette weighed in at 167 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Louie Braudel, and the three ringside judges are Sumner Malot, Cable Nin and Newell Laude.  

Round 1: 

Colette attempts to land a left hook, but Gedeon slips the shot and counters with a cross.

Gedeon steps inside and manages to force Colette onto the ropes.  Gedeon throws a right uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Gedeon holds on to his opponent.  Gedeon leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Gedeon connects with a right hook.  
Gedeon tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a cross.

Gedeon is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Gedeon holds on to his opponent.  Gedeon pushes his forearm into Colette's face.  The ref breaks Gedeon's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Gedeon switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Colette closes the distance.  Gedeon throws a left uppercut, but is not on target.  Gedeon clinches his opponent.  Colette tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Gedeon behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Colette about fouling.
