Jax Parody vs Fidel Cara

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at AT&T Park, San Francisco,  taking place on 26/05/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Americas Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Showtime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jax Parody (17(5) - 3(1) - 1) who hails from San Juan, Puerto Rico and Fidel Cara(39(36) - 3(2)) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Parody weighed in at 112 pounds, while Cara weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adam Reina, and the three ringside judges are Seth Frith, Dai Kerwood and Mark Kinnock.  

Round 1: 

Cara advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but Parody dodges the shot and counters with a firm cross.
