Dave Kiplimo vs Haaris Massoud

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Gulu Singhal, Gulu,  taking place on 03/04/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Kiplimo (8 - 10 - 2) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Haaris Massoud(1 - 1 - 3) from Gulu, Uganda.  Kiplimo weighed in at 135 pounds, while Massoud weighed in at 134 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Keshawn Drito, and the three ringside judges are Ricky Ssekimwanyi, Ibeamaka Katumba and Ibeamaka Katumba.  

Round 1: 

Kiplimo gets on the inside.  Massoud drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Kiplimo sidesteps to the left of his opponent andAs the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kiplimo dabs at his face checking for damage.

Massoud goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Kiplimo time to recover.
