Declan Laidlaw vs Ed Owen

Boxing Daily Report from the Spencer Clarke promoted show at Millenium Hotel, London,  taking place on 14/03/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Declan Laidlaw (5 - 2(1) - 1) who hails from London, UK and Ed Owen(1 - 0) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Laidlaw and Owen weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jim McCombie, and the three ringside judges are Jay McCaa, Ewan Musto and Joel Lowry.  

Round 1: 

Owen steps inside.  Laidlaw quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Owen lands a right hook.
