Carlos Sahagun vs Hernan Merlin

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lima promoted show at Lima Guillen, Lima,  taking place on 09/04/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Peru Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Carlos Sahagun (10 - 10 - 1) who hails from Lima, Peru and Hernan Merlin(14 - 5 - 1) from Lima, Peru.  Both Sahagun and Merlin weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bronco Aday, and the three ringside judges are Tajo Vences, Carlos Benavidez and Xaverius Arredondo.  

Round 1: 

Merlin steps inside.  Sahagun leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Merlin accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Sahagun.  Merlin lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Merlin tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sahagun is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Merlin steps inside.  Sahagun hits home with a left hook.
