Rob Cavanah vs Mark Owens

Boxing Daily Report from the Mandale Boxing Promotions promoted show at Geelong Avleev, Geelong,  taking place on 14/03/2029:

Clearly Mandale Boxing Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Cavanah (10 - 18(2) - 5) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Mark Owens(10 - 12 - 6) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Cavanah and Owens weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ricky Barfoot, and the three ringside judges are Alastair Mun, Sam Boner and Euan Kier.  

Round 1: 

Owens is looking to close the distance.  Cavanah digs in a right uppercut to Owens's ribcage.  
Owens is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.
