Cody Weddel vs Lewys Hopkins

Boxing Daily Report from the RJM Boxing promoted show at Gavin Taylor Gym, Cambridge,  taking place on 25/03/2029:

Clearly RJM Boxing have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Cody Weddel (2 - 0) who hails from Swansea, UK and Lewys Hopkins(1 - 1 - 2) from London, UK.  Both Weddel and Hopkins weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Cossutta, and the three ringside judges are Sam Stalker, Rob Heriot and David Ladd.  

Round 1: 

Weddel steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Weddel holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Hopkins steps to the outside.  Weddel drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Hopkins connects with an overhand left.  
Weddel gets on the inside.  Weddel pivots to the left of his opponent.  Weddel lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  Weddel ties up his opponent.  Weddel throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head.

Weddel walks Hopkins down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Weddel lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
