Kwamin Wairimu vs George Kipterege

Boxing Daily Report from the African Fusion promoted show at Mombasa Municipal Stadium, Mombasa,  taking place on 14/04/2029:

Clearly African Fusion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WWX Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kwamin Wairimu (7(3) - 0) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and George Kipterege(6 - 3 - 1) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Wairimu and Kipterege weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Bwakali, and the three ringside judges are Dembe Mutunga, Michael Bwakali and Nwa Lugano.  

Round 1: 

Kipterege attempts to land a cross, but Wairimu blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Wairimu is looking to close the distance.  Wairimu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Wairimu lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Wairimu closes the distance and is on target with a solid left hook.

Wairimu lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  Wairimu ties up his opponent.  Wairimu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wairimu about fouling.

Kipterege pivots from in front of his opponent.  Wairimu throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Wairimu advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Wairimu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Kipterege's liver.
