Obaid Wajdi vs Ricky Newall

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai,  taking place on 16/06/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Asia-Oceania Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Al Jazeera Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Obaid Wajdi (24(3) - 1 - 1) who hails from Al Ain, UAE and Ricky Newall(20(3) - 8(3) - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Wajdi weighed in at 168 pounds, while Newall weighed in at 167 pounds and 12 ounces.
