Karl McGee vs Harvey McQueen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ireland-Leinster promoted show at Leinster Hall, Dundalk,  taking place on 24/03/2029:

Clearly AI Ireland-Leinster have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Ireland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Karl McGee (21(13) - 7(6)) who hails from Drogheda, Ireland and Harvey McQueen(8 - 4(1) - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both McGee and McQueen weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Byrne, and the three ringside judges are Michael Dillon, Joshua Dermott and Sam McCaig.  

Round 1: 

McGee lands a cross.  
McGee feints a left, and then lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a cross to the body.  
McGee lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
McQueen manouvers McGee onto the ropes.  McGee lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
McQueen pivots to the left of his opponent.  McGee attempts to land a jab, but McQueen slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
McGee lands with a stiff jab.  
McGee steps to the outside.  McGee contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  McQueen throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
McGee feints a jab, fooling McQueen into launching a right uppercut counter.  McGee springs the trap and counters with  a left hook to his opponents liver.  
McGee steps away from his opponent and hits home with a ramrod jab.  
McGee lands a stinging jab.  
McGee steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McGee lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McQueen switches the action to the outside.  McGee lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McGee lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McGee throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
McGee lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
McQueen manouvers his opponent into the corner.  McGee is on target with a cross.  
McGee is on target with a solid jab.  
McQueen throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McQueen's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  McQueen's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  McQueen's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

McQueen could be stopped here, if McGee can find the right shot!  McGee lands a spiteful right hook.  MCQUEEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  McQueen now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
McGee tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
McGee feints a right, and then lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.

McGee switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
McGee senses McQueen is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  McGee lands a FEROCIOUS left uppercut.  MCQUEEN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  McQueen now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
McGee lands a cross to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
