Robert McBride vs Hugh Berne

Boxing Daily Report from the All Talk Promotions promoted show at Dublin MacTavish, Dublin,  taking place on 21/04/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Irish-Leinster Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert McBride (15 - 6 - 1(NC)) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Hugh Berne(7 - 17 - 2) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Both McBride and Berne weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Karl Leary, and the three ringside judges are Karl Finnegan, Rob Nesmith and Dan McCorquodale.  

Round 1: 

McBride closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.  
Berne steps away from his opponent.  McBride waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Berne tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
McBride lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Berne throws a left hook, but McBride clinches his opponent.  McBride tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Berne's kidney. The ref breaks McBride's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McBride connects with a left hook.  McBride holds on to his opponent.  McBride leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. McBride is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
McBride tries to land a right uppercut, but Berne blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
McBride pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.
