Darryl Barus vs Leo Shikuku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kiambu promoted show at Kikuyu Gachu, Kikuyu,  taking place on 23/04/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Kiambu Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Barus (4 - 17(2) - 4) who hails from Ruiru, Kenya and Leo Shikuku(11 - 3 - 1) from Ruiru, Kenya.  Both Barus and Shikuku weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Kamande, and the three ringside judges are Jake Merande, Amon Itote and Azam Taheri.  

Round 1: 

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Barus has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.
