Shontae Asiago vs Danny Godana

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Kisumu promoted show at Kisumu Melly, Kisumu,  taking place on 24/04/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Shontae Asiago (25(11) - 7(7)) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Danny Godana(17(3) - 4) from Kisumu, Kenya.  Both Asiago and Godana weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Mwamzandi, and the three ringside judges are Peter Kirui, David Macgoye and Kendis Rimbui.  

Round 1: 

Asiago steps inside and digs in a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.

He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Asiago slams a big left hook into Godana's ribs.  DOWN GOES GODANA!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Godana now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Asiago steps inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
The right shot from Asiago could be enough to force the stoppage!  Asiago lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS GODANA DOWN!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Asiago!
