Mason Monu vs Dave Obaraku

Boxing Daily Report from the Chirambo Promotions promoted show at Kano Obanta, Kano,  taking place on 26/04/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Nigeria-Cross River State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mason Monu (13 - 1) who hails from Ugep, Nigeria and Dave Obaraku(3 - 6(1) - 2) from Ugep, Nigeria.  Monu weighed in at 199 pounds And 6 ounces, while Obaraku weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dele Duba, and the three ringside judges are Juwon Adefope, John Adeleke and Ali Akram.  

Round 1: 

Monu pivots to the right of his opponent.  Obaraku attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Monu to the neutral corner.  He warns Obaraku that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Monu pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Monu is looking to close the distance.  Monu backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Obaraku accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Monu.
