Stephen Uys vs Vandwon Mpontshane

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 27/07/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Southern African Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Stephen Uys (17(1) - 3) who hails from Roodepoort, South Africa and Vandwon Mpontshane(15 - 4(1) - 1) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Uys weighed in at 112 pounds, while Mpontshane weighed in at 111 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Asavela Sikali, and the three ringside judges are Lemme Van der Linde, Fraser Mulder and Ndumisa Ntuli.
