Fred Rhys vs Obaid Khalil

Boxing Daily Report from the Ben Promotions promoted show at Ben Gym, Nottingham,  taking place on 21/04/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Fred Rhys (0 - 0) who hails from Swansea, UK and Obaid Khalil(5 - 14(3) - 2) from Warrington, UK.  Both Rhys and Khalil weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noel Moris, and the three ringside judges are Brian Hall, Johnny Finn and Mark Querry.  

Round 1: 

Rhys advances into close range.  Khalil sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Rhys drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.

Khalil lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Rhys manages to force Khalil into a neutral corner.  Rhys throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Khalil time to recover.
