Theo Miu vs Diego Tumanda

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at MBJB Indoor Stadium, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 12/05/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Astro Arena, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Theo Miu (12(9) - 0) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Diego Tumanda(14 - 10(1) - 5) from Calamba, Philippines.  Both Miu and Tumanda weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Sabet, and the three ringside judges are Farhan Younis, Obaid Diab and Haaris Gaber.  

Round 1: 

Miu gets on the inside.  Miu pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Miu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Miu walks Tumanda down, trapping him on the ropes.  Miu connects with a sharp right hook.  
Miu lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Tumanda almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Tumanda advances into close range.  Miu pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Tumanda throws a right hook, but Miu holds on to his opponent.  Tumanda pushes his forearm into Miu's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tumanda about fouling.  
Miu lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Miu holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Miu pushes his forearm into Tumanda's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Miu about fouling.  
Miu feints a right hook, and then lands a jab.  
Miu steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Miu holds on to his opponent.  Miu leans on his opponent using all his weight. Tumanda throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee warns Tumanda and breaks the clinch.  
Miu gets on the inside.  Tumanda throws a right hook, but Miu clinches his opponent.  Miu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Miu lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Tumanda is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Tumanda throws a right uppercut, but Miu holds on to his opponent.  Miu leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Miu lands with a solid jab.  
Tumanda gets on the inside.  Miu sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a stinging left uppercut.  
Miu lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Miu is looking to close the distance.  Tumanda throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a hurtful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE TUMANDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Miu is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Miu lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND TUMANDA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  Tumanda now seems to have his senses back.  
Miu is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Miu walks Tumanda down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Miu is on target with a left uppercut to Tumanda's liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tumanda's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Tumanda's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Tumanda's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Tumanda's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Round 2: 

Miu pivots to the left of his opponent.  Miu lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Miu clinches his opponent.  Miu throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Miu to stop fouling.  
Miu stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Miu lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND SENDS TUMANDA TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Miu!
