Dave Davies vs Kris Egerton

Boxing Daily Report from the Serero Promotions promoted show at Charlotte Craig, Charlotte,  taking place on 02/05/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-North Carolina Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Davies (11 - 14 - 2) who hails from Durham, USA and Kris Egerton(17 - 11(2)) from Charlotte, USA.  Both Davies and Egerton weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Gillie, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Armstrong, John MacNaughton and Bryan Laidlaw.  

Round 1: 

Egerton switches the action to the outside and hits home with a cross.
