Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Sheraton santo domingo hotel, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 08/05/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sancho Fontana (11(1) - 1(1)) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Dario Merced(17 - 7 - 3) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.
