Waqas Asmar vs Mervyn Dalton

Boxing Daily Report from the Roman Lorenz promoted show at Bolton School Arts & Conference Centre, Bolton,  taking place on 15/05/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waqas Asmar (13 - 11) who hails from Leeds, UK and Mervyn Dalton(11(4) - 1) from Newcastle, UK.  Both Asmar and Dalton weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Apted, and the three ringside judges are Dave Housler, Kai Comrie and Peter MacQuarrie.  

Round 1: 

Dalton gets on the inside and drives a left hook into Asmar's liver.  Dalton holds on to his opponent.  Dalton is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Dalton.  
Dalton is looking to close the distance.  Asmar pivots to the left of his opponent.  Asmar throws a left uppercut, but Dalton clinches his opponent.  Dalton leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Dalton's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Asmar is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross to Dalton's body.  
Dalton closes the distance.  Asmar throws a left hook, but Dalton ties up his opponent.  Dalton is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Dalton tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Asmar behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dalton is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  Dalton clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Dalton pushes his forearm into Asmar's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dalton to stop fouling.
