Otieno Methema vs Declan Chikwava

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at University of Western Cape Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 18/05/2029:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Otieno Methema (6(2) - 0) who hails from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe and Declan Chikwava(8 - 9 - 3) from Harare, Zimbabwe.  Both Methema and Chikwava weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is La Vonn Dorkenoo, and the three ringside judges are Kasi Hlatshwayo, Runako Mashaba and Chike Waris.  

Round 1: 

Methema advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.

Methema walks Chikwava down, trapping him in the corner.  Methema lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.

Chikwava voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Methema is whaling away with hooks, but Chikwava keeps his defence tight.  
Methema steps inside and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Methema lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Chikwava is on target with a jab.  
Methema advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Methema lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Chikwava recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Methema connects with a left uppercut.  Methema holds on to his opponent.  Methema leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Methema throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Methema gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, AND CHIKWAVA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Methema lands two straights to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND DROPS CHIKWAVA!  He is back up on his feet at 8.

However, the ref is not convinced Chikwava is fit to continue. He waves off the fight!  The winner by TKO is Methema!
