Jerrold Mar vs Carlos Placido

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Ponce promoted show at Rodrigo Rossel Gym, Ponce,  taking place on 19/04/2029:

Clearly AI Puerto Rico-Ponce have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Ponce Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jerrold Mar (11 - 5) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Carlos Placido(15 - 8 - 1) from Ponce, Puerto Rico.  Mar weighed in at 147 pounds, while Placido weighed in at 146 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ivan Magro, and the three ringside judges are Porfio Miguel, Ramiro Moyano and Beltran Correira.  

Round 1: 

Mar advances into close range.  Placido hits home with a right hook.
