Zach Brice vs James Kemp

Boxing Daily Report from the Cpboxing promoted show at Georgetown Ocheltree, Georgetown,  taking place on 17/05/2029:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Guyana-North Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Zach Brice (9 - 6) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and James Kemp(13 - 2) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Brice and Kemp weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Leon Colquhoun, and the three ringside judges are Robert Ririe, Gareth Neild and Leeroy Work.  

Round 1: 

Kemp pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Brice tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kemp is on target with a cross.

Kemp pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a stinging right hook.  
Brice steps to the outside.  Kemp hits home with a cross.  Kemp attempts to land a cross, but Brice sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Brice throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Brice has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.
