Mark Leland vs Spencer Gowen

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Melbourne Hajyan, Melbourne,  taking place on 21/05/2029:

Clearly AI Australia-Victoria have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Victoria Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Leland (17 - 10(1) - 6) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Spencer Gowen(15 - 14 - 2) from Melbourne, Australia.  Both Leland and Gowen weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Stronach, and the three ringside judges are Arran Ritchey, Owen MacCallum and Gus Seward.  

Round 1: 

Gowen steps inside.  Leland drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Leland pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gowen lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gowen walks Leland down, trapping him in the corner.  Leland wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Gowen has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
