Dave Pottinger vs Henry Govern

Boxing Daily Report from the Keystone Boxing promoted show at Cotillion Ballroom, Wichita,  taking place on 09/07/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Dave Pottinger (12 - 2) who hails from Olathe, USA and Henry Govern(8 - 24(2) - 2) from Peoria, USA.  Both Pottinger and Govern weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Blackley, and the three ringside judges are Mark Darby, John Ghee and Floyd Blackley.  

Round 1: 

Govern closes the distance.  Pottinger lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Pottinger lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Pottinger hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  Pottinger clinches his opponent.  Pottinger tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Govern behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Pottinger about fouling.  
Pottinger pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left uppercut.  
Pottinger sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Pottinger lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Pottinger ties up his opponent.  Pottinger hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Pottinger to stop fouling.  
Pottinger closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Pottinger steps inside and lands a firm left hook.

Govern wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Pottinger dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Pottinger lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Pottinger gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Pottinger lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.

Govern is clearly losing his cool here!   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Pottinger's groin!  The ref halts the action and sends Pottinger to the neutral corner.    He warns Govern that he is heading for a point deduction.
