Goeye Fournyer vs Huig Kaessens

Boxing Daily Report from the Eogalis Bleel promoted show at Eogalis Gym, Amsterdam,  taking place on 27/05/2029:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Netherlands Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Goeye Fournyer (9 - 10 - 4) who hails from Eindhoven, Netherlands and Huig Kaessens(18 - 5(1) - 2) from Amsterdam, Netherlands.  Both Fournyer and Kaessens weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adriaan Van de Ven, and the three ringside judges are Timo Schottyn, Arthur Parydaen and Mark Schoonvliet.  

Round 1: 

Fournyer closes the distance.  Kaessens lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Kaessens pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Kaessens voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Fournyer is whaling away with hooks, but Kaessens keeps his defence tight.  
Fournyer steps to the outside and attempts to land a cross, but Kaessens parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Kaessens lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Kaessens finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Fournyer steps to the outside.  Fournyer sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Kaessens is on target with a jab.  
Kaessens steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Fournyer tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a cross.  
Kaessens lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Kaessens tries to land a left hook, but Fournyer blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Kaessens lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kaessens lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Kaessens steps inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Kaessens advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Kaessens.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.

Kaessens switches the action to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Kaessens could be enough to finish Fournyer!  Kaessens lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, KNOCKING FOURNYER DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Kaessens lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS FOURNYER!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Kaessens!
