Nick Bagudu vs Lukman Ofodile

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kwara State promoted show at Ifeanyi Isola Gym, Offa,  taking place on 27/05/2029:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kwara State Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nick Bagudu (5 - 12(1) - 2) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Lukman Ofodile(4(3) - 3) from Offa, Nigeria.  Bagudu weighed in at 167 pounds and 3 ounces, while Ofodile weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rabiu Udoobong, and the three ringside judges are Shehu Ikisikpo, Kenzie Acquah and Rabiu Udoobong.  

Round 1: 

Ofodile feints a left, and then is on target with a jab.  
Ofodile closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Ofodile ties up his opponent.  Ofodile pushes his forearm into Bagudu's face.  The ref breaks Ofodile's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ofodile steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Ofodile walks Bagudu down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ofodile hits home with a firm right hook.  
Ofodile pivots to the left of his opponent.  Ofodile hits home with a left uppercut.  Ofodile holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ofodile pushes his forearm into Bagudu's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ofodile is on target with a solid left hook.  
Ofodile crashes a mean left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE BAGUDU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ofodile clinches his opponent.  Ofodile uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bagudu behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Ofodile about fouling.  Bagudu quickly recovers.

Ofodile closes the distance and lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Ofodile holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ofodile pushes his forearm into Bagudu's face.  The ref breaks Ofodile's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ofodile forces Bagudu to retreat into the corner.  Ofodile lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ofodile connects with a left hook.  
Ofodile lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ofodile steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ofodile gets on the inside.  Ofodile pivots to the right of his opponent.  Ofodile connects with a sharp right hook.  Ofodile tries to land a right hook, but Bagudu blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Bagudu steps to the outside.  Ofodile is on target with a stinging cross.  
Ofodile is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ofodile steps inside and walks Bagudu down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ofodile lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Bagudu lands a jab.  
Ofodile is on target with a right hook.  Ofodile holds on to his opponent.  Ofodile leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Ofodile's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Ofodile steps inside and hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  
Ofodile manages to force Bagudu into the corner.  Ofodile pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Ofodile is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ofodile connects with a firm right hook.  
Ofodile is looking to close the distance and forces Bagudu to retreat into the red corner.  Ofodile EXPLODES a big right hook into his opponents face.  BAGUDU IS HURT!  Bagudu quickly recovers.

Ofodile forces Bagudu to back into a corner.  Ofodile connects with a MASSIVE right hook.  BAGUDU WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Ofodile senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Bagudu and just needs the right shot.  Ofodile lands a SAVAGE left hook.  BAGUDU IS DOWN!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Ofodile!
